Our Daily Work
This Pre-Conference is designed to present the many issues that advanced practice nurses – clinical specialists, nurse practitioners and midwives - face in their daily work. These include providing care to patients throughout the spectrum of the disease, as well as throughout their lives. HIV, now a chronic disease, is one that requires expert care. In the 21st century, clinicians are faced with health problems of their patients beyond the infectious disease. Participants at this Pre-Conference will obtain information and skills that will enhance their practice.
